The ice cream social and pickle ball demonstration hosted by Valencia Homeowners Association (VHOA) for members and families on May 7th was a success. Everyone enjoyed eating ice cream, visiting with neighbors, and learning to play pickle ball. This game is similar to tennis and ping pong and easy to learn. It is not a strenuous game and well suited for everyone. Pickle ball is becoming quite popular for seniors in the San Antonio area. VHOA has the equipment. Members can call (210) 655-9946 to get their key for access to the courts and start playing.
