The Wars are over and they won!
The Valencia Cupcake Wars ended with some great looking results created by local and talented artistic minds. And the winners all got gift cards and a little bag of “goodies.” Look at photos below to see the fun had by all.
The hostess, Clemen Garcia, brought some un-iced cupcakes, different kinds of icings, kitchen utensils, and decorations to motivate our contestants. Our adult winner brought her own cupcakes – red velvet (yum). If you have never decorated cupcakes, this is more complicated than it looks. But it didn’t seem to stop our contenders who had some vivid imaginations.
The winners created some adorable cupcakes – everything from strawberries, bears, Easter bunnies, and bumblebees to puppy dogs.
And our hostess decorated these two beautiful turtles. When those in attendance saw these sea creatures, everyone thought she had done this before. And they were right. Clemen has been known to decorate wedding and other cakes.
A fun time was had by all, those who participated and those who watched! And, of course, if a cupcake is cute but doesn’t taste good, what good is it? Well, we think this picture of one of our winners who couldn’t wait to sample her cupcakes says it all!
